Well connected – with the water taxi from Ajman to Dubai

Moderne Wassertaxis entlasten die Hauptverkehrsrouten

Ajman is the smallest of the seven Emirates belonging to the United Arab Emirates and is north of Dubai. It is renowned for its tranquillity, originality and is the perfect starting point to explore the surrounding Emirates without being subject to the hustle and bustle of the major cities.
Until now it was only possible to do this by land. The Dubai Transport Authority has announced that from 2010 a water taxi will be in operation between Ajman and Dubai.  The authorities are hoping that with this new route they can achieve a substantial reduction in traffic particularly at peak times where the streets are totally clogged.

A regular service is planned with up to 17 stops. In Ajman you will be able to get on at Corniche and the Fish Market. The ride will cost around 10 Dirham (~ 1,90 €).
The ships are approximately eleven metres long, four metres wide and reach a speed up to 35 km/h. They have air conditioning as well as drinks and snack machines which make the journey on board as pleasant as possible.

Enjoy your holiday in the United Arab Emirates in the luxury hotel Ajman Kempinski and discover the pulsating metropolis of Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
