Gourmet festival in Abu Dhabi

From the 5th to 19th of February the gourmet festival in Abu Dhabi is taking place for the second time. International top chefs like Alain Passard, Masayasu Yonemura, Charlie Trotter, Heinz Winkler, Martin Fauster and Dieter Kaufmann will entertain their guests with high class food.
Every cook will create a special menu for Abu Dhabi and cook it in front of an audience. The Arab cooks will enchant gourmets with their distinctive spice variations from Arabian Nights.

This festival was initiated by the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA): “One of the highlights for the gastronomy in Abu Dhabi is the gala where the awards for the best restaurants and cooks in the Emirate are presented. Evening events are devoted to the culinary history of the Orient like the Royal Dinner with authentic royal food or the Arabian Feast.”

Excellent wine growers, restaurateurs, industry experts and gourmets from across the globe are also expected in Abu Dhabi.
