Award - Abu Dhabi is the “World’s Leading Tourist Board”

The Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) was awarded on the 8th of November in London with the sought after World Travel Award as the world’s leading Tourist Board.
The World Travel Awards are given as international recognition in the area of travel, tourism and accommodation and are selected by internationally established tourism specialists. This year around 180.000 travel professionals voted – the largest voter turnout in the history of the WTA.

His Excellency Mubarak Al Muhairi, General Director of ADTA received the award. His thanks also go to the 180 employees of ADTA who strive to achieve the same objective: Internationally establish Abu Dhabi as a premium destination. ADTA has offices in Australia, China, Germany, France, Italy and the United Kingdom.

The award is particularly remarkable considering that ADTA has only recently celebrated its five year existence. Abu Dhabi intends to increase the present number of guest (1,5 million) by 10 % for the upcoming year.
